During the second edition of the Reply AI Film Festival in Venice, the boundaries of artificial intelligence in the film industry were showcased. More than 2,500 submissions from 67 countries participated, with ‘Love at First Sight’ by Jacopo Reale winning the top prize. The festival focused on the integration of AI in creative processes, from screenwriting to animation, and emphasised its impact on the future of cinema. Jury chair Gabriele Muccino saw AI as a ‘tsunami that will completely change the world’.

Lors de la deuxième édition du Reply AI Film Festival à Venise, les limites de l’intelligence artificielle dans l’industrie cinématographique ont été mises en lumière. Plus de 2 500 soumissions provenant de 67 pays ont participé, dont ‘Love at First Sight’ de Jacopo Reale, qui a remporté le prix principal. Le festival s’est concentré sur l’intégration de l’IA dans les processus créatifs, de l’écriture de scénarios à l’animation, et a souligné son impact sur l’avenir du cinéma. Le président du jury, Gabriele Muccino, a vu l’IA comme une ‘tsunami qui va complètement changer le monde’.

Tijdens de tweede editie van het Reply AI Film Festival in Venetië werden de grenzen van kunstmatige intelligentie in de filmindustrie getoond. Meer dan 2.500 inzendingen uit 67 landen deden mee, waarvan ‘Love at First Sight’ van Jacopo Reale de hoofdprijs won. De festival richtte zich op de integratie van AI in creatieve processen, van scriptschrijven tot animatie, en benadrukte de impact op de toekomst van de cinema. Juryvoorzitter Gabriele Muccino zag AI als een ‘tsunami die de wereld volledig zal veranderen’.
