De Nederlandse School voor Openbaar Bestuur (NSOB) start deze winter met een cursus over de toepassing van kunstmatige intelligentie (AI) in het openbaar bestuur. De cursus richt zich op de praktische implementatie, ethische overwegingen en de impact op dienstverlening aan burgers. Experten en wetenschappers onderzoeken hoe AI kan worden ingezet om de publieke sector te moderniseren, zonder de fundamentele waarden van transparantie en rechtsstaat uit het oog te verliezen. De cursus begint op 19 januari 2026 en is gericht op strategen, bestuurders en beleidsmakers die al werken met AI of die dit in de toekomst zullen doen.

Last Friday, it was announced that Groningen will be home to a new AI factory, funded by the EU and the Dutch government. This factory will serve as a hub for knowledge, data, and applications in artificial intelligence, contributing to Europe’s digital sovereignty. State Secretary Tuinman emphasised that the factory is crucial for the security and freedom of the Netherlands. The supercomputer, which will become operational in 2027, will provide enormous computing power for research and innovation across various sectors, including healthcare, agriculture, and defence.

Vendredi dernier, il a été annoncé que Groningue recevra une nouvelle usine d’IA, financée par l’UE et le gouvernement néerlandais. Cette usine servira de centre de connaissances, de données et d’applications en intelligence artificielle, contribuant à la souveraineté numérique de l’Europe. La secrétaire d’État Tuinman a souligné que l’usine est cruciale pour la sécurité et la liberté des Pays-Bas. La superordinateur, qui sera opérationnel en 2027, offrira une puissance de calcul immense pour la recherche et l’innovation dans divers secteurs, notamment la santé, l’agriculture et la défense.

Deze fabriek zal fungeren als centrum voor kennis, data en toepassingen in de kunstmatige intelligentie, en draagt bij aan de digitale soevereiniteit van Europa. Staatssecretaris Tuinman benadrukte dat de fabriek cruciaal is voor de veiligheid en vrijheid van Nederland. De supercomputer, die in 2027 operationeel wordt, biedt enorme rekenkracht voor onderzoek en innovatie in diverse sectoren, waaronder gezondheidszorg, landbouw en defensie.
