With 150 participants from 10 countries, the role of libraries in the digital world and how they can adapt to remain relevant were explored. A new initiative for financial support of libraries in developing countries was launched, highlighting the international dimension of the sector.

Lors du Congrès National des Bibliothèques 2025 à Amsterdam, des thèmes importants tels que le librarianship communautaire, la durabilité financière et la solidarité internationale ont été abordés. Avec 150 participants provenant de 10 pays, les discussions se sont concentrées sur le rôle des bibliothèques dans le monde numérique et sur la manière dont elles peuvent s’adapter pour rester pertinentes. Un nouveau programme de soutien financier aux bibliothèques dans les pays en développement a été lancé, soulignant la dimension internationale du secteur.

Tijdens het Nationale Bibliotheekcongres 2025 in Amsterdam werden belangrijke thema’s als community librarianship, financiële duurzaamheid en internationale solidariteit besproken. Met 150 deelnemers uit 10 landen werd er ingegaan op de rol van bibliotheken in de digitale wereld en hoe ze zich kunnen aanpassen om relevant te blijven. Een nieuw initiatief voor financiële ondersteuning van bibliotheken in ontwikkelingslanden werd gelanceerd, wat de internationale dimensie van de sector benadrukt.
