According to the Digital News Report 2025, trust in AI as a tool in journalism has significantly declined in Flanders. Only 22% of Flemish people feel comfortable with news that uses AI, and this percentage drops to just 9% for news that is entirely generated by AI. This makes Flanders one of the regions in the world with the lowest trust in AI journalism.
